About the site
Intersectional veganism recognizes that the wellbeing of our planet, animals, and people are interconnected. The lens of intersectional veganism encourages us to consider how food systems, labor practices, public health, and social justice influence one another, while at the same time seeking to reduce harm to animals.
Nope. It's for anyone who is curious about how to live more compassionately and make informed choices. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, vegan-curious, or simply interested in social justice, you're welcome here.
I explore topics including:
  • Animal welfare
  • Plant-based nutrition
  • Food justice and hunger
  • Environmental sustainability
  • Public health
  • Consumer culture
  • Aging and caregiving
  • Poverty and inequality
  • Peace and nonviolence
  • Ethical decision-making
  • Art, storytelling, and advocacy
Not at all. My goal is to provide reliable information that encourages thoughtful conversation and invites you to explore new perspectives — not to demand adherence or perfection.
My focus is education, not partisan politics. I do explore how public policies and cultural systems affect health, animals, communities, and the environment, but I will not engage in partisan political discussions.
Many of the systems that affect animals also affect people, including workers, families, communities, and the environment. Looking at these issues together is critical to help develop more compassionate and effective solutions.
Nutrition & health
Nutrition is one part of what I discuss, but it's only one piece of the larger picture. Healthy food choices are influenced by culture, income, access, education, and public policy, all of which deserve attention.
Yes. My nutrition content is grounded in current scientific evidence and practical, real-world guidance that you can actually use.
While I draw on my experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), and Vegan Lifestyle Coach & Educator (VLCE), the information shared here is for educational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace the advice of your healthcare provider. Please work with your physician or other qualified healthcare professional for medical advice specific to your needs.
