Meatbesity

$75.00

This collage draws from Baroque and Renaissance painting traditions where the body and abundance were still intertwined. The central figure, fleshy and exposed, evokes a long tradition of depicting the body as both sensual and excessive.

But that tradition is interrupted here. The contrast between painted flesh and meat imagery collapses the space between representation and reality, suggesting that ideas about indulgence and the body haven’t disappeared—they’ve just changed form.

Size: 5” x 7”
